Interesting

Being pregnant is so interesting. Saturday morning when I finally went back to bed I had an amazing little experience. First off, Baby C had woke up & apparently didn't want me to sleep. I love being pregnant & feeling our baby moving but sleep time is SLEEP time! What can I do though? I just let her/him settle down & go to sleep. Baby & I were falling asleep with my fur-son(dog) Hersh laying directly in front of me with his paws resting on my stomach. Back paws at the bottom of my stomach & front paws on the top. Well, Mr. Hersh started dreaming & twitching/kicking me which got a response from baby! So very weird but amazing. I had the biggest smile on my face feeling them interact in a way. Mike says they were fighting. Great, siblings already fighting. :) Hersh will be a great big furry brother. We've already seen him with babies & he is a huge mama dog, very protective & attentive. I've always wanted to see him in action with our kids. It's nice with nephews but I so badly wanted it to be our kids he was watching over. Now it will be. :)

Mike has touched my belly for the first time. He saw me pushing on my stomach & asked what I was doing. I told him you can feel the difference between just fat & the uterus. There is also a little knot on my uterus which not sure what that is but I could google it. Anyways, I had Mike feel for himself and he was surprised by the difference. I can't wait until you can actually start feeling the kicks on the outside so he can feel them too. I know some girls already can at this stage but my extra layer is causing that delay a little. I've felt a few kicks but they are not consistent enough to call him over to feel yet. Baby isn't cooperating either, He/She has not been as active the last few days. I still feel a strong kick now & then but I haven't felt him/her playing jungle gym much. Makes me want to run out to get a stethoscope to listen for the heartbeat. :)

Well, I guess that's about it. The ever fun bloodwork, tests, & appts continue. :)
