My guesstimates. I don't know if she's grown much so I'm guessing still about 27 inches & 15-15.5 lbs. I could/could've weighed her on the scale but nah, I'll wait. Give her time to gain a little more. :)
Eating. Oh, don't try to give this girl baby/pureed foods. No thank you!!! She refuses all pureed fruits/veggies now & has for a few weeks. She eats like a big girl thank you very much!
Foods: She really likes bread & any type of potatoes. She's a starch girl. She likes mac & cheese & hot dogs without skin. We've tried pb&j and grilled cheese. She's not so big on chunks of meats yet but we keep trying. We've discovered she likes celery(with or without pb) & mushrooms. Sometimes broccoli & olives. She likes to take bites of food rather than having it cut/broke up for her. She wouldn't eat chunks of peach but had no issues taking bites of a whole one. She'll eat eggs & bacon, of course cereal. Today she ate whole grapes after not caring for them before. I've been surprised by what she seems to not like anymore & surprised by what she seems to really like. She's not too picky of an eater but she has her times.
Missy has nearly 6 teeth. Teeth 3 & 4 have been so slow to come in & pop over night teeth 5 & 6 were coming. On her birthday tooth 5 was through & 6 was breaking through. Now you see all 4 top teeth when she smiles & weirdly enough I think 7 & 8 coming. She's been teething bad the last 2 days. It took longer for her to get her first 2 but pop overnight were coming. 3 & 4 were slowbirds but 5-6 overnights too. So I'm guessing 7-8 will be slow painful ones. :( Poor baby!
Katie isn't walking by herself yet but she's chugging along. She crawls like a normal baby (on hands & knees) & sometimes tries to stand up that way. She has no problems standing up using the table/couch/whatever & will walk along it fine. She'll walk while holding your fingers also. She's getting brave & has started letting go on the couch/table and I've started to let go when I know she's balanced. She usually only lasts a second but hey, it's better than nothing. When we get back home I think she'll start using her push-walker & before I know it she'll be walking by herself. :( It's happening fast, oh so fast!!
I have a 1 year old & I can't believe it. A year ago I had this tiny not even 6 lb baby girl! Where is the rewind button? :)
