There was good & bad to my appt today & since I've calmed down I will try to be more levelheaded.
Good: I enjoy the staff at the office. They're very nice & address you by your name. They didn't argue with me about how far I was & understand I could be only 12.
Bad: They could not find the heartbeat on doppler even though 3 people tried. They got a ultrasound machine supposely only for heartbeat checks & supposely found one after 5 mins of very very painful pushing. Honestly, it hurt like hell. But they reassured me (the 3 times I asked "are you sure?") they saw the heartbeat. I saw a white dot that didn't move and no baby around said dot. But they're the experts! :)
Good: The well women exam was very quick and she said she believes I am in fact 14 weeks, not 12, but they'll verify with an ultrasound. Yay!
Bad: Ultrasound isn't until Valentine's Day!!! I have to wait 15 more days until I know for sure whether I am on my timeline or 2 weeks ahead. I will either be 14 or 16 on Vday. Interesting. If I am in fact 16 on Vday then I was 11 weeks pregnant when I found out. But anywho!
It was good & bad. I'm having a hard time not being able to hear the heartbeat or see it BUT I must trust the doctors. And in 2 weeks I will be able to see my baby & know how big he/she is! Exciting! :)

12 weeks
We are 12 weeks pregnant now, so surreal. It still seems unreal to talk about baby stuff for me/us, for our baby. I honestly thought I've never be here, meaning pregnant. We weren't done trying to get pregnant, we were going to start getting help this year, in the next few months in fact. I don't know if it's because we weren't actually trying, that getting pregnant was on the backburner because of the holidays & family. I mean I tried to get pregnant, I knew I might be ovulating & I was hoping for the best but I guess because I'm just so use to not ovulating, so use to failing at getting pregnant that I just wasn't thinking about it. We did our thing & then it was done. I focused on other things, family & the upcoming weeks. Never even thinking that there was even a tiny chance of it working, of us actually getting pregnant. But apparently we did. And this little nugget is one strong little being. He/She held on through a lot and I will always be thankful for such a strong baby! It was truly meant to be! So, enough sap, onto the details!!!
Baby C will grow this week from 2.5 to 2.8 inches and he/she weighs around .3 to .5 ounces.
So amazing! To think about our baby growing every single day, bigger & stronger!
What's been happening with me AKA symptoms: Nausea & Breast Tenderness have slowly went away but has come back with gusto lately. No nausea on Thursday but it was loud & proud yesterday! Today my breasts are quite sensitive/sore. I have my first real case of heartburn this morning which makes me smile. Oh, the morning insomnia apparently is back, hopefully not for too long. I think the most amazing part so far is feeling/knowing our baby is growing. I know when there is extra pressure & more pains that our baby is growing and he/she was yesterday. It truly amazes me. That even this early I can feel my body making room for baby. Or baby making room for itself. :) Whichever it be.
My first real OB appt is Monday & I should get to hear the heartbeat. For the first time ever! The pregnancy tests, the symptoms, the unreal, will become REAL! I know hearing the heartbeat will take my breath away & make this pregnancy oh so real. Hearing the heartbeat, knowing that's OUR baby, will be so ... I don't even know. It's just going to be a whole new world! Our baby's heartbeat! I can't wait!

OB appt!
To say this appt, which was really only a nurse q & a session, was annoying is putting it lightly. This office & the nurses refuse to believe me when I tell them I did not get pregnant during week 2 of my cycle. That I got pregnant one month after my period. So, because of that....they are insisting I am 13 weeks 3 days pregnant instead of the 11 weeks 2 days that I know I am! I tested on Thanksgiving, I was not pregnant. She eventually started referring to my pregnancy length as "our estimate 13/3 & yours 11/2". GRRR! This office does not do ultrasounds at all unless something doesn't measure right. My first real appt is Monday, yay, & I WILL get an ultrasound because I know I will not measure 14/3 like they insist. If I measure 10 days or more less than their estimate then they will do an ultrasound. So yay, my first ultrasound! And the only one until my 18-20 week one which I do believe my husband should be back in time for!!! YAY! Awesome. We can guess the gender at that one but they won't tell us. Those will be my only 2 ultrasounds of this whole pregnancy unless I go elsewhere & pay for them which I might! You expect ME to be able to tell gender from a most likely shitty machine? Come on!
So, I had my first "ob" appt & I have my first REAL OB appt next week. I am glad I'm getting in so soon. I wish it were this week, I wish my husband could see the baby before his month training thing but it is what it is & I'll text him a picture. :) They better print me a picture!! :) Anywho, that's all. Frustrated Preggo Lady! Oh she cared not about my concern of losing the baby. "As long as you don't bleed or cramp badly you're fine". GRRR! Fuck you nurse, fuck you! Though she was nice even though she treated me like an idiot. I know my body thank you, I know when I got pregnant! But because of their refusal to listen I will get my ultrasound in 7 days! :)

11 weeks
Here we are, 11 weeks pregnant! It doesn't feel real & yet it seems like farther along. This week was very long. I feel like it should be higher than 11 but I have to relax & not rush it. Next week will be 12 & then 13 and our first trimester will be over. :)
Baby Stats:
Growing from 1.8 to 2.3 inches long this week, about the size of a lime. Aww, our limey baby!
Baby C should weigh about .3 oz.
I'm told the next 9 weeks will be a huge growing spurt but won't the rest of the pregnancy be too. We're only at 2 inches which is still amazing but far from the 18-22 normal babies are born at. Grow Baby C, Grow!!! :)
My first appt is Monday but as I've said, it's just Q & A! I can't wait to my first REAL appt. Where I get to see our baby! I really hope they can get me in this week before Mike has to leave for his month training thing. It'd be awesome if he got to see our baby before leaving. I know that's some HIGH hopes but I'll have them. :)
11 weeks, we are 11 weeks pregnant! I still can't believe there is a baby, our fetus, growing inside me. :)

Kicking My Ass
This baby, this pregnancy, is kicking my ass this week! I'm not even kidding! I am so incredibly greatful for it but goodness gracious! There is the nausea, which is usually just slightly annoying & not a big deal. There's the sore boobs & nipples which OMG, Ouchie! The backaches! The uterine/area sharp pains. Ok, I don't usually mind the pains, it lets me know things are stretching & whatever. But yesterday I nearly fell to my knees from one. I got off the couch to mess with dinner & I had to grab the wall as I bent over in pain. I was fine after that but geesh, it was scary! The biggest ass kicker is NO ENERGY! Last week I was a cleaning machine. I HAD to be cleaning, my house had to be clean. I want it clean this week too but yeah....that means getting up. I've kept my house clean but minimal clean. Just enough so it is clean but not deep clean.
This morning, oh this morning has been the mack daddy of butt kicking! Haha! When I woke up my back hurt so bad that while getting ready for Curves I had to sit on the bed because I felt like my knees were going to collapse. So I go to stretch & my buttcheeks feel like blocks of stone & when my knees were up, it felt like I had a metal bar going across right above my butt. It hurt to lay on the floor to stretch. It helped though so yeah. Nausea! It's been mighty today & without my peppermint candy I would not have gotten through Curves. Then there's the burning nipples. I was SOOOO thirsty too & still am but I know if I drink as much as I want, as I feel I need, I will get sick. I know when I stand back up the nausea will come raging back to me. Ugh! Oh, most of all because I can deal with all that no problem is the no energy. I feel like a zombie. I am so completely exhausted & I've done almost nothing. I am going to fall asleep on the treadmill today. Oh yes, I will. Ok, probably not. I hope next week will be better! I want energy. Plus our first appt is Monday so yay!
So, I've bitched alot. I agree, being pregnant can SUCK! But I love it. I love that our baby & this pregnancy is kicking my ass. I know all is well when I am this miserable. I know when I feel the pains it's our baby growing & making the room it needs. I usually tell him/her hello when I feel them. It sucks having no energy but I'd do it everyday if I had too. I'd probably just stay in bed most of the day. :) I will cherish every single minute. It is the greatest gift & miracle in the world & I appreciate every second of it. :) I am so thankful!

10 Weeks!
We are 10 weeks pregnant today, 25% done with this pregnancy. How glorious! Most people know now & we're telling more each day. We have a mustang meeting AKA driving the (car)mustangs to a destination to eat. We'll get to tell our club that we're expecting. Most of the club except for us are grandparents! One couple bring their daughter & not sure if she has kids and one club member brings her mother!!! So there are 3 people our age, 5 grandparents, & one great grandparent! Haha! It's a great club with great people! :) Anywho! I've been more sensitive to food the last few days & I'm really sensitive to junk/fatty foods. AKA restaurants or the cinnamon rolls we're having for breakfast. Haha! Add the jerking of a manual mustang & Oh my goodness! Today will be interesting & I hope my stomach will be strong enough. I may bring a small can or something in case. Haha! :)
We are 10 weeks & our baby is growing every single day. The baby nearly takes up my whole uterus! Our baby is 1.3 to 1.7 inches long or roughly the size of a kumquat or prune. :) He or She weighs .2 oz! His/Her organs have formed & their fingers & toes are getting nails, along with some teeth buds! How amazing. How truly amazing to know OUR baby is growing so fast instead of me. Our Baby! I love saying that. God truly is amazing! :)

Scared
I am so scared of losing this baby. Yesterday we decided to tell everyone and I don't know if it upped the scare factor because now everyone knows or what but I just felt different yesterday. Something felt off, not in a good way. I didn't sleep worth crap & it's because I am scared to death we'll find out we don't have a live baby. I've heard of people going in & finding out the baby was no longer viable. I'm nearly 10 weeks (9wks6days) and I haven't seen an ultrasound or heard a heartbeat. If I was in CA I'd ask Amanda if I could use her heart beat monitor but I'm not. I've been scared since we found out but like I said, I don't know if telling everyone upped it or what did but now I'm ultra scared. Am I nauseous this morning because of the baby or because of nerves? I am nervous as BLEEP! My nausea & morning sickness is getting better. I still have it but it's not really that bad. Only if I overeat (which is quite easy now, I'm surprised at how little I can eat) do I normally get nauseous. Or if I'm cold or drink too much water.
"Having really strong morning sickness is a great sign"
But mine isn't super strong. I'm kinda thankful it's not super strong, I'd hate to live in the bathroom all day & night but then I'd know, hey baby is really really there. I know it's paranoia or at least I hope. I know every girl fears losing her baby and I know every week closer to 13 means a greater chance everything will be ok. I'm nearly there, only 3 more week! Maybe at my first appt I can ask to hear the heartbeat to reassure me. Too bad that's 10 days away still. Man oh man!
